Hi,

I'm trying to add the Chartstyles.Community files to WL. I'm studying the course on Udemy called WealthLab Algorithmic Trading Starter Kit where it explains how to do this.

Once I download the attachment from the Wiki, according to the course there is supposed to be a .sln file called WealthLab.Chartsytles.community.sln which I'm supposed to open in Visual Studio and convert into a DLL and then copy into the WealthLab folder on my computer.

I cannot seem to find the .sln file. The course is ca. 5 years old, I think. I'm just wondering if there is a another way of doing this?

Hi Paul,

To install Extensions please visit the Extensions section of our website. On how to install or update Wealth-Lab extensions, check out this illustrated tutorial and/or the Wealth-Lab User Guide > Extension Manager.

There's no need in Visual Studio and downloading the Wiki attachments for that purpose.

Thanks Eugene. I found the extensions. Just out of curiosity. Why are the attachments available in the Wiki? What do they do?

The attachments contains zipped source (either demo or full) code of some extensions to help 3rd party developers learn by example.
