I've installed wl .net on my xp 64 bit machine.
It is now working (after applying the workaround).
However it "hangs" when simulating the rsi rotation script on all dow stocks.
I tried various settings incaluidng last year, alst 3 months only and it still hangs in the last symbol.
My second question is how and where can I download fundamental data and where can I find scripts that compbine both fundamentalo and technical analysis?
Tnx

Are you running the rotation strategy in single symbol mode?

Using the MSN Fundamental data for securities provider.

I do not see any oprion to add msn fundamental data source.
Where is it?
I am using the rsi rotaiton script as it is.
How do I change to multiple symbol mode?

The key is not to run it in multi-symbol mode, where it produces undesirable effects and incorrect results, but in single-symbol mode - as instructed in the strategy's Description window. See the WL User Guide,
Strategy Window > Backtesting Strategies for more details on the difference between SSB and MSB.

It's available as a downloadable Extension. Take a look at the
Extensions section of the site.

Note: maybe the strategy doesn't "hang", but Wealth-Lab tries to download the missing historical data. Update your DataSet before running a strategy.

In Version 4 I wrote several that were included in the WLP4 installation, but I haven't been tasked to do that for Version 5. So, the only ready-made examples that I know of are those in the QuickRef.
You can use the Strategy Wizard to create your own fa/ta strategies - just drag and drop! See the User Guide: Strategy Window > Strategy Builder

I upgraded (theoretically!) from 5.1 to 5.3 last week, but I'm having problems I never had in 5.1, and I have not added any new datasets or any new strategies. I'd like to know if anyone else is experiencing these problems, and how to fix them. First, "Automated Daily Updates" isn't working. All week I have had to manually kick-off the data download. Second, when I attempt to chart some symbols, it crashes the software - and there is no information to explain what has caused the problem. Third, I get this message in the Strategy Monitor on some datasets. "Error(4):Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index." If you know what to do, please let me know. Thanks.

Please don't break the hannan2's topic with these 5.3-related questions. Creating a new thread would be optimal in this case. Thank you.
