Can anyone point me to any short trading strategies that have some promise?
I have a two long strategis a trend following and a mean revert strategy that i trade and am happy with but want to add a short system to the mix.
Everything I have tried does not add much to the two system and as we know it is not just a matter of turning a system upside down to short.
I did have a look in the strategy libaray but unless I test them all I have no idea what shows any promise.
Any ideas?

That's the idea. You should test them all on your DataSets using the convenient Strategy Ranking tool and then use Monte Carlo Lab to further evaluate their reliability.
