What is the difference between the recently posted public strategies verses the ones posted a while ago with the same name. If they are modified, please modify the name briefly so that WLP will download. Otherwise, they are recognized as existing and don't download. Hope my observation is right. :)

Which ones?

If they are modified, they indeed will have a different name. If it exists on your disk, it will not be downloaded.

P.S. By design, existing strategies are not downloaded if they already exist. This is what Wealth-Lab tells you by marking them with a red cross and by refusing to save them. To avoid downloading everything each time, simply limit the starting date aka "Published since".

As of 12-14-2011 there are about 4 of them listed. Basing on the time stamp, I tried to download and then realized they are there dated few months ago.

If they don't download, then they already exist on your disk.

Just to be on the safe side, I've successfully downloaded all public strategies by wiping out all accumulated ones first.

I didn't suggest removing them - I just made sure again that the strategies I uploaded, can be downloaded. Of course you should back up before doing anything like that! Otherwise your private strategies will disappear forever. (Well, a file restore utility might help in some cases.)

It's not a problem that the Strategies are dated months ago. They could be dated years ago and exist on my HDD when I decided to upload them. Most likely there is no problem at all and you just have all recent strategies.
