I'm looking to purchase or lease a trading strategy
for auto-trading purposes based on Wealth-Lab.
Will need your help both in the system design and coding.
My main needs are:
- trading target: highly-liquid ETF's
- intraday trading only...no overnight positions held
- 1, 5, or 15 minute bars
- low-drawdown solution
- robust money management
If you have the interest and skillset to help me, my contact

I look forward to communicating with you.

Hi Hamrickjim,
I am both a programmer and an analyst. I have over 13 years doing accounting work as well as 14 years professional experience computer programming. What you are describing is a magical silver bullet.
My first suggestion is to define your trading plan.
1). Why pick ETF's only? Why not a security that you know is in an uptrend? I was doing well taking Option positions in BP. As soon as they put a cap or did something to stop the flow of oil, BIG Rally! Sometimes jumping 2 dollars a share. This one trader I know did a presentation on trading the FAS and FAZ. What about companies like AAPL they seem to be having a solid growth pattern over the last 18 months, therefore your intraday trading should average higher each trading day.
2). What are the fundamentals behind your selection criteria? I haven't been that fond of ETF's as a trading vehicle. The financial industry has finished with it's rapid run up. Now they will respond like the market as a whole.
3). Entry rules? Do you only enter if the security is below the high from the day before? Or if the security dipped lower in the closing hour the prior day, you get in on the dip, and ride it up?
4). Exit rules? Sell 1 hour before market close if you are down or, wait till before market close to exit if the profit target has not been met?
Do you have a formal trading plan defined?
