This morning I noticed an update to the ActivaTrader strategy pack extension. I installed the update and rebooted and then my Wealth-Lab Pro 64 bit would not boot. I renamed the dll in the program_files directory and I am recovered. I tried it again with the same result. Is there a way to get the prior version of the dll until it is fixed?

I found I had the prior version on another computer and have installed it. Everything works again for now. Please be advised that the update appears bad for me.

Thanks for your report. The extension has been tested on x64 and x86 Vista, Win7 and XP and everywhere WL6 loaded fine after updating it. I'll have to take a closer look.
The problem seems to affect Win7 x64 users. What can be done to fix it if:
1. Open Wealth-Lab's main folder under Program Files (and/or "Program Files (x86)", if you also have WLD6 32-bit installed), find the WealthLab.Strategies.ActiveTrader.dll file and delete it.
2. As an alternative, right-click the DLL file and rollback the version to a previous one.
3. If you keep backups, restore the file like bgood suggested.
To anyone interested, there's no need to update this extension if it works for you! It's not updated anymore since last year, there will be no new features added (or fixes included), and this is purely a technical version number bump. Please read the Change Log before installing.
