Hi fellows
I´d like to ask for some help
I´m very newbie in programming, so, for a while, I´m being able to set up strategies from rules, only.
Please, may somebody say if using rules (non-script typing) it would be possible to set up to switch positions directly by reversals, I mean by one single order, instead of separeted and subsequent entries and exits?
(Pardon, am I being clear? Since my native language is not English, probably I´m not sure about inter-languages financial market jargons differences)
An specific example: I am long in 100 lots of any stock and I´d like to order a single immediate sell of 300 lots, so this way my position is directly switched to a short one having 200 lots in this point.
Another example: Using RSI, It signaled overbought and so we entered short, further ahead this same indicator turns to signal it´s oversold and instead of we apply a simple cover exit, we order a buying one having the necessary quantity only in order to invert our position, and from now on doing this non-stop sequential switching, and staying inside a position in any of the sides. (exiting only when stop loss cases).
Many thanks,
