Is it possible to include "Starmine" historic stock analysis rankings as a fundamental item in testing? If so, what can I do to access this data for testing within WLPro? Thanks.

Anything is possible, as Cone is used to say. The devil is in building a particular action plan. If the answer does not help, maybe your question did not contain enough pointers, details and prerequisites.

Sorry, but I do not understand? How might I better relate what I am asking for?

The exact URLs to the pages of interest seem to be missing in your question. Next, which exist rankings? Is there a Fidelity account requirement to access the resource?.. The more details the better.

Not sure if I understood your last reply. We (MS123 LLC) re a 3rd party, so I'm not familiar with Fidelity's website, fundamental rankings, ActiveTrader and other services. If you guide me through, you know I can be helpful.

Sure thing, just need some time to send you what I am referring to. Sorry for the ambiguous response. I'll update you when my time allows. Cheers

Michael, see Help > WLP Fundamental Data Guide > Analyst Upgrades Downgrades Data, p.16. It's not Starmine; the data are from Thompson Financial and Investars. The best way to get a handle on how to use analyst up/downgrades and ratings in a script is with the Strategy Builder's Analsyt Ratings conditions.

Cone,
Analyst Rankings data can also be obtained for free from Yahoo using
this provider. Yet I believe what Michael is asking for is a Fidelity website feature. Some proprietary
analysis system called Starmine but I need more clues. (Didn't want to end creating a fundamental provider for http://site.com/free-page.html whereas the point of interest was something like https://paid.site.com/customer-only.aspx, and it required a Fidelity login which I don't possess).

The question was " historic stock analysis rankings as a fundamental item in testing.. for testing within WLPro?"
This is the question I answered. Simply, Starmine is not available, but you can test with data from other providers.

It's a pity then. Fidelity login requirement is a showstopper.

Makes sense. Too bad. Thanks anyway

Nice! Looking forward to it. How far back will the ESS data be available? 3, 5, 10 years?
For those with a Fidelity account, log in, and you can see the current "Equity Summary Score" in the "Analyst Opinions" link under "Stock Details".
