Hello,
i am interested in Wealthlab and have some questions i couldn`t answer using your forum or google.
I know that there is a version for U.S. people (Wealthlab Pro) and for Non-U.S. people (Wealthlab Developer).
1.) What is the difference between both versions besides the fact that Wealthlab Pro is distributed by Fidelity?
2.) I have seen somewhere that fundamental data is available from Fidelity. Is that only in the Pro-version or also in the developer version?
3.)As i am only interested in buying a software that is future-proof, what are the chances that Fidelity will distribute wealthlab in Europe too with the requirement of opening an account with them? What do you think?
Thanks for your answer.

What's the difference between Wealth-Lab Developer and Wealth-Lab Pro?QUOTE:

Available in both WLP/D, though Developer has a quite limited set of free data currently coming from MSN. It's not as extensive as in WLP.

We're not Fidelity, so hardly someone will reply to a quite speculative question like this.

Hello Eugene,
thanks for your answer, especially to my first two questions, that was exactly what i wanted to know.
Of course do i know that the last question is somewhat speculative, but i was not aware in what kind of relationship you are with Fidelity.
That what concerns me is that i have to pay 799$ for the software and 150$ each year so that the software stays functional. So if Fidelity decides to distribute WL in europe in the same way as in the U.S. and i decide not to go with them (open an account), then my software will stop working, isn`t it?
So all my developements will be useless then?
What happened to owners of WL 4 in the U.S. when Fidelity acquired WL?
Were they able to use their software further on?
Another question is: do the 150 $ include major-updates like to version 6 or would that cost extra.

Currently, they are still getting their unlock codes for WLD2/3/4 from us. They can't update to Developer 4/5, but the version they've paid for is usable at this time.

Speaking about 6.0 and its upgrade policy is on the same scale as Fidelity coming to Europe (Mars, Tau Ceti etc.) :) Please let them do 5.7 first :)
