Please let me know if Im following the steps correctly:
1. Open WLD and authenticate
2. Open Orders and Select Auto-Trading = "Live Accounts"
3. Open Strategy Monitor, Change Settings, Select "Automatically Stage Orders from Strategy Alerts" option => Ok
4. Click Auto-Place if not active in Strategy Monitor
5. Open Accounts and click "Streaming Updates"
6. Make sure Auto-Place is active in all windows

Do I need to open the Strategy editor and select "Auto-Place" in Alerts tab also?

This option becomes active if your Strategy window is Streaming. For static charts it's inactive. So if you're trading from Streaming charts you'd naturally want to enable Auto-Place there.

Thanks Eugene so I should use either Strategy editor or Strategy monitor, not both?

If you mean to say "should the same strategy be duplicated in SM and S.window for Auto-Place to work", then the answer is no. But both tools can be used in parallel for Auto-Place if you wish to run different kind of suitable strategies in them.
