The Static Provider Stopped updating at 2018-07-02 1:00pm. This is true for ETFs and stocks and for all intraday time frames.Quotes are still coming in and the partial candles are forming. Partial candles are added to the last Static Provider candle. For instance after rebooting the computer, uninstall and reinstalling WealthLab my 5 min chart of LABU jumps from 1:00 to 2:25 pm.
This looks like the problem we had back in April 2017 except we can't figure out any thing that will add the static data after 1:00pm.
I have called Fidelity and they said I was the first to report the problem.
I also checked the Markets.xml file and it had <dateTime>2018-07-04T00:00:00</dateTime>
Thanks

The Wealth-Lab Market Manger shows that the special hours for 07/02/2018 are 9:30 am to 1:00 pm however I do not see this in Markets.xml file.

RoDenSwain,
Any idea how to edit that data?

Ditto.
Probably the server is also programmed incorrectly.
OT: Active Trader Pro was working normally...so they have the data.

Sorry that you're having this problem.

This particular MarketManagerMarkets.xml file is part of the Market Manager configuration and it has no effect on the Fidelity provider. The correct file to modify is
Markets.xml - however,
not in the same folder (it's ignored in AppData). The correct location is elsewhere: c:\Program Files\Fidelity Investments\Wealth-Lab Pro 6\Data\Markets.xml. You will most likely have to restart WLP for changes to apply.
The correct date is 07/03/2018, not 07/02/2018 as in the XML file.

Maybe you haven't updated WLP (or is the file not up to date in WLP?). Cone can tell for sure but my version (in WLD) has it in \

Yesterday (July 2, 2018) it appears that Fidelity intraday data stops at 1 PM (ET). Won't update the last 3 hours of the day. Started again 9:30 today.
Affects validity of certain indicators still today. Can you confirm? Anything to do?
(NOTE: this was working yesterday through close of market, but data disappeared sometime after market close yesterday.)

When I replaced the file, it brought back the data, but placed yesterday's 1:15 bar (15 minute data) *after* the 4:00 bar. How to fix?
Size:

For example: Wealth-Lab User Guide > Charting > Chart Context Menu > Edit Bar Data or Reload Chart History.

Whoops. The above problem came back again when I turned on streaming.

Not to promise that it should fix your issue (in post #15 as I understand) but what if we make your WLP believe that today isn't a shortened session? How about this:
1. Backup the XML
2. Delete the
MarketSpecialHours for 07/03/2018 in the XML, save and restart WLP
3. 'Edit bar data' or 'Reload chart history' to taste
4. Overwrite the file after today's close with your backup copy from post #13 in this thread:
WLP 6.9 is missing Special Hours for 2016 and 2017Double check everything.

I am using Windows 10 and I can edit the Markets.xml file in Notepad but I cannot write or over write the file to C:\Program Files\Fidelity Investments\Wealth-Lab Pro 6\Data even though I have administrator privileges.

What you're missing is that to save in Program Files your text editor must be run with elevated privileges explicitly. Right click the Notepad shortcut, choose 'Run as admin', confirm UAC prompt, now you're able to save anywhere directly.
Same with XML Notepad and no need in steps 4 and 5.

I've updated my datasets....many times...yet my data is updated until 1pm on July 2.
July 3 is fine that the market was closed at 1pm...but it is also cutting off updates at 1pm for the previous day as well.

Re: #18, it didn't help. I'm unable to edit the bar. Right click on bar, and edit is greyed out. Double click on bar and get a message, "Bar Data Editor is not available for this chart."
Bar is only in wrong chronological position when streaming is enabled. Can't see anything wrong with time / date in bar.

Data editing is not available for Streaming charts and in a compressed bar scale. You should switch to the original bar scale. Or use "Reload Chart History".

I didn't know what a "compressed bar scale" was, so I did some research. If I understand, 15 min data scale (which I am using) is a compressed data scale in WL? In fact, 5, 10, 15, and 30 min are all compressed scales? Supposedly because they are all constructed in WL from 1 min data?
So you want me to go to a 1 min bar to edit? I did that and was able to edit, but could not see any error in the bars from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM on July 2 (symbol = .RUT). So I didn't know what I was supposed to edit.
1:15 PM bar appears twice on that date, once at 1:15 PM and once after 4:00 PM. This only happens when streaming is turned on. Reloading data didn't help. I would try deleting it, but alas, edit doesn't work when streaming is on.

No. The original bar scale is the one that
you used when creating the DataSet. If the DataSet you're used to chart .RUT is in e.g. 5-min scale you should open the chart in 5-min scale to edit the correct data.
So if you can't spot the error in 1 min scale might mean that either this time frame is unaffected and you should switch to the proper original bar scale (which is only known to you), or (only after having exhausted this idea) that the error is in the streaming data itself. In the latter case, sorry but I cannot offer much help re: fixing Fidelity streaming data error (especially considering that in this thread we're only dealing with their
static data - and this issue is already resolved).

Thanks for clarifying. Indeed the anomaly disappeared with today's login and streaming so it looks like you were probably right about it being on the Fidelity data side. Thanks for the help.

I'm also running into this issue since July 3.
On July 3, Fidelity Static Provider updated intra-day data to July 2 1:00pm.
On July 4 and 5, Fidelity Static Provider updated intra-day data to July 3 1:00pm.
Once the streaming started, the data is updated to the latest bar.
However, once you wipe the static data and update the intra-day data from scratch (e.g. workaround for split stock issue), you run into the issue again.
