Eugene, is this the feature you mentioned some time ago that would speed up optimization times, or is that another completely different feature?
In any case, this is pretty cool.

When can we expect genetic goodness to arrive on our very own Wealth-Labs?

It's ready to go, but we've got some other housekeeping to do first. I'd like to think we'll have it all cleaned up within 2 weeks.

Any updates on this?

Very close - probably within 1 week.

We're proud to announce the availability of genetic optimization for Wealth-Lab 5.6 and higher!
Please see the home page and visit the Extensions section to download the Wealth-Lab Genetic Optimizer.

Will we someday get the source code on this extension as well?

No. Just curious: why would we give away our intellectual property?

I thought sometimes you gave us the source for some work you did (like we have on the wiki).I see it under "Open Source Home" on the wiki. But to be honest i don't know much about open source projects and I guess i don't know what will qualify as open code or not.

It's described at the
Open Source Home, though I agree that it's confusing to see "Optimizers" in the "Open Source Home" menu list on the Wiki. The interface for creating your own optimizers is "open", but I don't think that documentation has been published yet.
Edit: I thought wrong -
it is available! :)
