The strategy monitor is a fine tool indeed.
What about having the possibility to set up more than one monitor, is perhaps that "on the plate" for a future WL release?
When dealing with many portfolios, not being constrained to just one strategy monitor would be nice

Currently, you can try running several instances of WLD5 in different user accounts (even on the same machine). Since their configuration files in this case are saved separately in each user's AppData folder, it makes possible to run several Strategy Monitor window. Not super convenient, but should work with the help of fast user switching with the Win+L key.
