Orders being staged, following De-Activation of Strategy?

I and another person (in a different location) have seen situations were we are running a strategy against a live account. Positions are opened and closed, pretty much as expected. Following de-activation of the strategy we have both seen new orders being staged. This appears to have happened even after deleting the strategy as well.

Any ideas regarding how this could be possible?

1. Have you closed the Strategy Monitor?
2. What OS and .NET are you running?
3. Do you run ATP side by side?

1. I removed the strategy, but did not close Strategy Monitor
2. Windows 10 and it looks like 4.6.2

I am now seeing orders that I submit in Orders that are not being placed. They just show Submitted and nothing shows up in ATP and they are never placed. I am logged in and getting streaming data from Fidelity. I restarted WLP about 3 hours ago. It is looking like WLP is not very stable or reliable :-(.

This is a long-standing known issue:

Wiki > Open Issues > Order stuck submitted
Forum > Fidelity WLP Orders don't get placed properly (Stuck Submitted)

Hopefully this gets resolved, sooner or later.

Anyway, this is the first time I've heard about new orders being staged following de-activation of the strategy.

I have not seen this again, but I had someone report to me that it happened to them again today. I have not details, so I know this does not help.

On another note > let me know if I should move this to another post.

I ran a strategy against a paper account today. I still had WLP running while I was checking email and had a bluescreen > DPC error. This is a first for me on Windows 10. Following rebooting, I restarted WLP and is has been stuck consuming about 15% of an i6700 running at 4Ghz for the past hour. I am seeing 1+Mbps of receive network utilization. I did have a list of 45 stock with 1 minute data. Is it possible this data was corrupted and WLP is re-downloading the data?

I see where the data sets lists are > ...\AppData\Roaming\Fidelity Investments\WealthLabPro\1.0.0.0\Data\DataSets

- Is the actual data stored here > ...\AppData\Roaming\Fidelity Investments\WealthLabPro\1.0.0.0\Data\FidelityStaticProvider?

- Can I just back this up and restore it if this happens again?

FYI - After letting it run for 3 hours, I killed WLP. I deleted the data set lists and data, then copied an older version into the correct location. WLP now appears to be running. I am updating the data now.

It might be possible. Your best bet in such cases is to open up Task Manager in Windows 10 to see which app is consuming traffic right now.
