This is very strange (been going on several months now), not a priority, so just now asking the question.
I have two PCs, one w 32bitWLP(Windows XP), the other with 64bitWLP(Windows 7).
When I select "Delete (Quarantined) Symbols" in 64 bit, they disappear & never return.
When I do the same in 32bit PC, they all reappear on 'Quarantine List' 3-4 downloads later.
Any ideas?

Hmmm, the bitness can't be the problem there, so there must be a different configuration for the data setup between the computers. How are both computers configured for...?
1. Fidelity Data: Data Relocation
2. Update Data: Delete Data for Symbols that are not contained in DataSets

1. Fidelity Data: Data Relocation
Both PCs have this box unchecked and if checked they both point to .......1.0.0.0\Data\

More info for you regarding Update Data: Data Provider Update Options
PC that has problem has the following selected "Also update symbols that you accessed, but are not contained in DataSets"
PC that is working fine has a different selection "Update only symbols that are contained in DataSets"
First, I will change this to exact settings that are in PC working fine, & see what happens
If that does not work, I will enable the "Delete Data for Symbols that are not contained in DataSets" When choosing this feature.... if I only have Fidelity Historical Data selected & No Fundamental Data boxes selected, will WLP also delete all my Fidelity & YCharts Fundamental data?
Will let you know if either of these solve problem.

Re: Also update symbols that you accessed, but are not contained in DataSets
That's a good observation and certainly has the potential of attempting to update "old" symbols again. The part that doesn't make sense is how the system even finds symbols previously deleted by quarantine since both the data files are removed and they are deleted from DataSets.
Please create a Support Ticket for this issue so that we can get it properly logged and reported. tia.

That was indeed the culprit.
Deselecting ""Also update symbols that you accessed, but are not contained in DataSets"" prevented symbols previously deleted by quarantine from reappearing in quarantine. I will create Support Ticket as requested.
One more observation. For what it's worth, the ""Update Data: Delete Data for Symbols that are not contained in DataSets"" does delete permanently. After Deselecting ""Also update.....", I ran "Delete data....". Then I re-selected ""Also update....." again..... those symbols (that quarantine could not delete) never came back.
cheers.
