Cone/Eugene,
I'm a bit befuddled. I have a strategy that I use to work on a 16 member portfolio. The first time I run it after launching WealthLabPro.exe the performance results return in seconds.... If I then change the date range and relaunch on the data set, WealthLabPro.exe appears to go off to never-never land. As I write this it has been 30 minutes+ waiting for a return. Resource Monitor shows WealthLabPro.exe at a pretty constant 13% CPU consumption with 30 threads. Any ideas appreciated.

As a follow up, the portfolio is futures only from an ASCII provider.

Let's try to reproduce what you're seeing.
* Does the issue happen with a Yahoo! DataSet like Dow 30?
* Is the issue specific to the particular data range? What is the problematic choice?
* Is ASCII provider's Cache feature enabled? Does disabling it in Data Manger have any effect?
* Which performance visualizers are enabled? If any of MS123's visualizers are in use, are the visualizer libraries up to date? Have you tried disabling visualizers one by one?

Thank you for the pointer to performance visualizers. I disabled all the extra visualizers I had been playing with and the problem seems to have gone away. I will see if I can localize the problem to a particular visualizer and let you all know. "Extra Performance" and "Performance" visualizers are up to date as of 2011.11

Just as I thought. When you're done finding the visualizer, please include more details (date range, sample code, symbols etc.) to help reproduce the scenario.
