Two questions about the tradable trendline-
1. Does the alert work for all symbols which have tradable trendlines in them as long as Wealth Lab is open?
2. When an alert is triggered I hear the audible alert, but I don't get any clue as to which symbol and which alert has been triggered. Is there some way to get a visual clue, such as an alert window? A Fidelity representative said that I could have Wealth Lab stage an order when as alert is triggered. That would work as well, but I can't find any settings which allow this.
I could have 20 tradeable trendlines in 20 different symbols, but without a clue as to which one just triggered, it can be hard to figure it out.
Thanks-
Rick

1. It works only for the symbols that have a TT in an open Chart window. In other word, they won't work in the Strategy Monitor or Rankings tools.
2. The Alert tab shows the number of Alerts for a Strategy Window. For streaming Strategy windows, the "Auto-Stage/Place" button can be enabled in the Alerts view toolbar. User Guide: Strategy Window > Strategy Window Views > Alerts View

Does that mean that if I want to monitor tradable trendlines in 20 different symbols, then I need to open 20 different windows and have them running in the background?

For streaming, that's right.
However, for EOD trading, I would have thought that TT Alerts would appear for all symbols that triggered in a MSB, but that's not the case. It turns out that they're only valid for the symbol's chart whose "context" was valid (displayed) just before selecting the DataSet. This is the key - in Version 5, a Chart is required.

In that case, is there any way I can save symbols to a data set, such as "watch list," and open them all at once rather than one by one, in order to activate tradable trendlines for streaming?
Likewise, can I somehow check a dataset at end of day, without having to open each chart and inspect them visually, for any alerts which triggered that day?
Thanks-
Rick

But this is precisely what you must do. You can keep all the open in one or more Workspaces and just open the Workspace.

Thanks. I had forgotten about Workspaces.
One last question: when using streaming tradable trendlines, will alerts work for trendlines in all timeframes, or only the ones that are currently open? That is, if I have the daily chart open, will a tradable trendline trigger for the hourly chart of that symbol?

As stressed in the User Guide >
Charting > Drawing Toolbar > Lines and Trendlines:
QUOTE:
A Tradable Trendline is always active in the Chart/Strategy Window (only) for the symbol and scale for which it was drawn.
