Sometimes my strategy generates more alerts than I have capital for. I also know that many of my alerts will never get executed but I'm not sure which ones will trigger.
The solution has been to use the WL Auto-Trading feature where I send the all of the alerts to a quote window by selecting all of them and right clicking "Monitor Selected Alerts in Quote Window". Next I open an "Orders" window, select "All Live Accounts" under accounts and set Auto-Trading to "On". Back in the Quotes window I ensure the "Auto-Place" is on and have the Trigger Threshold set to 97% or so.
This works very well. The system places orders as they approach the Trigger Threshold. If I exceed the buying power of the account (occasionally), the trades get rejected.
Question is, what if I want to do this while traveling and don't have an internet connection, on an airplane, perhaps. I believe I need the internet connection to trigger the thresholds. Is there a workaround?
Thanks for your suggestions.

This feature can not function w/o an internet connection. Don't push the limits. You can not trade w/o a reliable internet connection unless you don't care about exposing your account to an uncontrolled risk.

Well my risk is limited to the amount of stock that can be purchased by the account. I control that. Not really trying to push limits. Just want to execute my strategy reliably while traveling or otherwise indisposed.
Can W/L be run on a virtual machine somewhere in the cloud and has anybody tried that or know of a way to do that?

VMs running Wealth-Lab Developer 6 are hosted in the clouds like Amazon, Google etc.
