IGNORE THIS. Pertains to an accidental pre-release of WLP 6.9
In WLP 6.9, on the Optimization Control page, there is a new checkbox to the left of each parameter. This feature is not documented in the User Guide. What does it do?
Second question... Is the setting of the checkbox visible inside an optimizer? I'm guessing it might be the IsEnabled property of of the Parameter object. Yes?

1 - I guess this must be the long-awaited feature request 98351: The Optimization control lacks the ability to selectively omit Strategy Parameters from optimizations.

if that's the case....

2 - Considering that I don't see IsEnabled among the properties in API 6.8, you must've spotted the right one.

Uh-oh. Then it doesn't work.
1. I added code in the Swarm Optimizer to display its value, Checked or unchecked, IsEnabled is true.
2. The Genetic Optimizer does not seem to react to the checkbox.
I explained the issue in a call in to Fidelity Active Trader support. They will research and expect to get back to me by tomorrow afternoon

I tried it out with the Exhaustive and it does work with that one.

Has this been fixed in the WLP 6.9.12 release?

To support the new feature, existing visualizers have to be rebuilt. Eventually, this will be done (hopefully within months to come).
