As I read in the Wiki, WL-Developer is 64 bit compliant and is not restricted in the actual memory usage while WL-Pro is a 32 bit app with memory restrictions. From what I read, WL-Developer is only available to customers outside of the US and Canada. So what is the plan to upgrade WL-Pro to be a 64-bit app so the US and Canada customers can be on par with the rest of the world?

From the technical standpoint, both applications share the same code base so WLP 5.x can be made x64-native with some tweaking. However, that alone won't help since the unmanaged Fidelity Server is the roadblock here, dragging WLP to the WOW64 subsystem (read: into the 32-bit layer). Fidelity has to rewrite the Server component for the real 64-bitness.

Thank you for the information Eugene. It sounds like those of us who are using WL-Pro need to all ask Fidelity to upgrade to be a pure 64-bit app!

Does Fidelity plan to rewrite the unmanaged server, so that WLP can be 64-bit? Timetable?

Fidelity provides no public ETAs. This is a rule.
