That pretty much says it. When I want to update data and hit the stream button it not only does not update data but the program freezes. Nothing will function. I can only close the program and re-open. Also, I cannot close the program from within the program. I have to go to mac force close commands and close the program this way. Any help appreciated.

Are we to assume this is the streaming button on the Chart window, and not the streaming button on the status bar? Can we assume streaming on the status bar is working okay?

Does this happen for all strategies, or just one particular strategy? In other words, why is this only happening on your workstation and no one else's? Give us a clue. There are some cookie authentication problems with WL 6.9.22.7. Is that the WL version you're using? For example, that version doesn't completely work with Fidelity 2FA logins.

To update data at any time you could run an Update All Data.

P.S. 2FA has nothing to do with this issue.

Thanks for your responses. I am using Fidelity data. When I use update on demand this actually works fine. If I click on stream and it locks it clicking on update data will free it up, update the chart, and let all go back to normal. So thanks for this.
