Hello, I am wondering about the features of WealhLab.Net compared to WL4?
The documentation is a bit incomplete, for instance trailing stops appear in the quick guide but nowhere else.
Optimization is not there.
Strategy Ranking is not there
Setting Commissions is very strange, not described in the User Manual.
Compared with WL4 the performance is not any faster, funnily enough there is always the running time, however when it says 250ms something takes 3 seconds until I see the results.
Is there more to come?
Thanks

Welcome to our WL5 Wiki:
Comparing Wealth-Lab Developer V4 vs V5 (.NET)Hope this is helpful too:

What led you to this misleading conclusion? Calculations run 2-10 times faster, assuming the Strategy is adequately constructed, because they are compiled.
For example, just compare the execution speed of portfolio rotation in V5 (in single symbol mode) vs V4.

Right, because it's execution time. As documented in the WL User Guide (Strategy Window > Strategy Window Views > Editor)...
QUOTE:
Execution time measures the time that it takes the Execute() method to complete. It does not include the time required to retrieve data on-demand, load the amount of data requested in the Data Range control, or any post-processing required for the Performance Visualizers.

For sure. The functionality is being rolled in phases. It takes time and effort to rebuild
absolutely everything from scratch using the new .NET platform.
Strategy Rankings will make back in v5.3.
Commissions to change in v5.3.
