I would like to know if it is possible to publish a weekly trading system ? In this case, how are managing orders which must be available for the market during all the week.

It depends on such factors as the order type. If your system uses AtMarket orders, then IMHO you just have to issue them as they appeared and from next session, keep posting NST on a daily basis until next week.

For Stop/Limit orders, you have the option to mark them as GTC when sending. At the end of each day, unexecuted GTC orders are moved to the Staged tab. Authors need to Place unexecuted GTC orders each day during the week, or cancel them when desired (i.e. when your Weekly system produces a new set of orders next week).

Cone should correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you. Just one more question : can I run my strategy only each week end and mark all orders as GTC. ? I will cancel orders manually before each new run. Is it correct ?

My understanding is that you can mark all Stop/Limit orders as GTC but each day you'll have to visit the website and Publish them from the Staged tab where they will end up (each day) if they don't get filled. And if they don't get filled on Friday, you just cancel them all and replace with new orders that your system might have generated for next Weekly bar.

It's clear for me now. It's not what I would like as there is no other way, I will use it like that. Thanks a lot !

There really wasn't a good way to cancel GTC orders through Wealth-Lab > WS Trader. Even if you're trading a Weekly system through Fidelity with Wealth-Lab, you have to cancel the orders manually. While it takes a little more effort to re-publish 'GTC' orders as Day orders, we thought it was worth the trade-off of never having to worry about properly canceling GTC orders on the subscriber end.
