ETF TREND SYSTEM

This system utilizes five ETFs that have high volume and high weekly and monthly differences between their high and low prices:(QID, QLD, TQQQ, UVXY, VXX). Each trade utilizes 95% of the existing cash and only one position at most, is open at any given time. By investing most of the cash available, the money is kept working. Because of the chosen ETF variety, most of the time, the cash on hand is invested. This system utilizes both long and short trades. This system has been back tested over the period January 1, 2007 until December 31, 2016. The following table shows the returns over the test period:

Time period - Return - Return %
01/04/07 - 1129.8 - 5.65
01/02/08 - 6990.15 - 33.08

The results for 2017 are after the test/optimization results. Past results do not guarantee future results. In the above results, all proceeds are re-invested. The above results were based on a $25,000 initial investment. There were 189 trades for the above results.

This system has on average 2 to 3 trades/month. The initial investment is $25,000 but as the number of trades is small, a smaller initial investment would also be suitable.

30 day trials are available.
