today I havent been able to download german stock data for september 14, 2020.
I was wondering if Cone or Eugene could look into it, please.

No problem with German stocks in W-D for 09/14/2020:



FYI, we employ a watchdog that alerts if any data scraper in the wild (all data providers including W-D Germans stocks, Classification Groups, C.Components, public Strategies that downloads data on-the-fly, countless other utility scripts etc.) goes down or starts returning unexpected results. Such automation saves a lot of time and effort and lets me act proactively.

The WL-data US stocks are ok for me, but the german stocks simply dont deliver the Sep 14, 2020 bar ..
Whats the matter with that ?

Did you update the data and then deleted the last bar using the Data Tool? That's a possible scenario for getting this error. W-D provider records the date of last update in a Symbols.txt file. For you it's set to 09/14/2020 for German stocks so update for them will not succeed until tomorrow.

There are two solutions:

1. Data Manager > Wealth-Data > click "Clean data", then update all data. It's the simplest way which should reload your data from scratch including the 14-Sep-2020 bar.

2. A more geeky way is to delete your Symbols.txt file in this hidden folder and then simply update the data:

c:\Users\Windows username\AppData\Roaming\Fidelity Investments\WealthLabDev\1.0.0.0\Data\ZZWealthDataStaticProvider\Symbols.txt

Thx, trick number 2 solved the problem.
Symbol.txt miracously contained lines with 20200914....
