After switching back from another application, my streaming 1 min chart has disappeared. I cannot find a way to refresh the window except to close and reopen the strategy (sometimes twice). I have WLP 5.3.
Pressing the "GO" dataset button appears to refresh the window, but does not restore the chart.
The problem manifests during the day when the market is open and new data is inputing the chart.
Is there a program technique, or shortcut key that will get the chart back?

How does it look, do you have a red cross on the blank chart?

There is no red cross. Normally there will be a price graph with an indicator graph above. When the problem manifests, only a straight line with price triangles appears at the top of the chart window. All verticle graph components are lost.
The strategy is: WL5 Wiki > All Pages > "Active Trader 2009-05|Adaptive Money Flow Index".

Sounds like a scaling glitch. Have you selected semi-log scale by any chance? How many bars are you loading?

Please also indicate the symbol and does that affect static charts as well, thanks.

No semi log scale.
50 bars in main trade loop.
119 bars are visible in full size screen, 95 bars visible in 'cascade' size screen.
BGZ is symbol used. I tried SPY, problem persists.
Does that affect static charts as well? I do not understand question. Problem manifests only when chart is streaming.
I did some testing:
Other strategies do not have problem. So problem must be program issue.
Switching to strategy editor window for more than 1 streaming update will cause chart disappearance. So it is not a 'switching windows applications' problem.
I noticed that resizing the chart window (from cascade to full) produces erratic results. Sometimes the graph resizes horizontally but not verticaly, and other times the graph resizes correctly to fill the entire chart window. This may be a clue.

Something like this?
That looks like a bad tick in the data (the chart was made by creating a fake bar with High=10000). If your experience is different, please create a screenshot and upload it on any image hosting server (e.g. tinypic.com, bayimg.com or imagebam.com).

Thanks for the description, I can duplicate it now. It seems that the keys are:
1. Streaming
2. Switch off the Chart View (to Editor or a Visualizer) and don't even look at it for 1 full bar interval.
3. Window size and Strategy are not factors.
Interestingly, the cursor data (bar number and mouse y-value) does not register when moving the cursor through the blank area.
Eugene, no, it doesn't look like that. The y-axis scale is unreadable and it's as if everything is jammed into the top of the window, but even then you can only see a couple pixels anything chart-related.
