I would like to use cum down indicator to determine the number of symbols that reach or exceed a specific level to determine whether to trade. I’m not sure if Wealth Lab can do this. Is it possible to do this? If so, how can I write code to my system to perform this function? Thanks.

Why do you want to use CumDown "to determine the number of symbols that reach or exceed a specific level".
It would be best to explain what you want to do by specific example and that should clear up any doubts.

Thanks Cone. One of my systems uses cum down at or exceeding 3 days to produce a signal to enter long. I am interested in looking at all the symbols in the data set, specifically the S and P 500 to determine the percentage of symbols that meet this criteria. If for example the percentage of symbols that meet this criteria is greater than 60% that would prevent this system from producing any buy signals. The logic is that the signal is not based on the general market but rather based on specific symbols. I hope I’m being clear.

We just talked about it on the forum yesterday. So to save me some typing:
Close above SMA in a DataSet, post #2
Both approaches (QuickRef code sample or Index-Lab) should apply.

Thanks Eugene I’ll work with this example.

It's the least I can do Mike. Let me know if you need further assistance with this.
