Hi
1. For functions with parameter lists, after typing the opening parenthesis "(", WLD shows a list of parameters with a cue for the current parameter in bold type. This is a very helpful tool. But when I write e.g. the following line:
CODE:
Please log in to see this code.
The editor shows coorectly the parameter help for the first two paramters of PlotSeries, then switches to show the parameter for SMA.Series. But when I close the parenthesis of SMA.Series and type the comma, it does not switch back to show me the help for the next parameters of Plot.Series. Is that an error or miss I something ? And is there a possibility to call for the help if it is not displayed ?
2. Accidentally, I discovered in the WLD 4 manual the mentioning of the Smart Code Editor function which exists also in the WLD 5 as I found by trial. Is there a specific part in the WLD 5 help where these kind of editor tools are explained ?
Thx & Kind Regards

Hi,
#1 - Sorry, we'll have to live with the built-in editor's little issues of Intellisense, because it's a 3rd party control (Quantum Editor).
#2 - Although it's not highlighted in Strategy Window ... Editor, you can find those Ctrl-Space and Ctrl-Shift-Space shortcuts listed under Reference > Keyboard > Editor Shortcuts.

Thx for the quick response
1. Unfortunate. Maybe giving a hint to the third party could help.
2. Sorry. In the editor of the strategy window, there is on the upper right side a reference button, which shows .NET-references. But I cannot find a keyboard-entry somewhere...

The task of "References..." is to "set it and forget it" (external references are saved with the strategy), so probably it didn't mean a lot of sense to include a shortcut for it.

P.S. As to the Intellisense, its deficiencies are known long since but there always were bigger fish out there for Fidelity than dealing with this non-critical ergonomic bug.

Sorry, that´s a misunderstanding. I meant, I cannot find Reference > Keyboard > Editor Shortcuts.

In the User Guide.

Just revisited this old thread by accident.

Fixed. This is working as intended in 6.9.22 and up.
