Editor slows when code grows

Hi, as my code is growing in number of lines I am noticing that moving the cursor around as well as the feature whereby members of a class show up after typing the "." after the object name is slow. My machine has 8GB of RAM and an Intel i7 processor. Your comments are appreciated.

fyi, the 'feature' of the 3rd party editor control is called Intellisense. How much your code has grown in numbers: lines, classes etc?

It is now 22K lines will grow perhaps to 30K.

Wow, that's huge. In 6.5 we need to make sure Fidelity upgrades the editor to a latest version (1.63 or even 2.0) to support C# 3.0/4.0, and hopefully the QWhale Editor.NET's developers have made performance fixes along the way (which is just a speculation).

Until then, it would be more practical to consider switching to developming inside a full-blown IDE: Visual Studio (Express version is free) or SharpDevelop:
