Hi Eugene,
Late last night I was running couple old strategies that look up fundamental data like industries, sector, etc., , during at one strategy, WL indicates that one of the fundamental data piece is invalid and soon afterward it crashes and it crashes on subsequence WLD start up (Please see attached error message). I changed the WLD WorkSpace file to the default one and WLD able to startup but as soon I clicked on Streaming, it crashed again. Please let me know how I can locate and remove the source of the fundamental error. Thanks.

Hi Tom,
For {insert god's name} sake, please avoid calling an exception box a crash. Nothing crashes here, you can continue using the program. Renamed the topic and passed it on to Robert since this seems to be an IQFeed provider's issue reading its supplemental file with fundamental data items.

Thanks Eugene.

tomphm,
If you wouldn't mind, find the IQFundamentals.csv file in your C:\Users\[you]\AppData\Roaming\Fidelity Investments\WealthLabDev\1.0.0.0\Data\IQFeedStaticProvider folder. Attach a copy to this post and then rename or delete that csv file. The data should be replaced on your next update.

Cone,
Thanks. Please find the file attached.

It didn't attach as CSV isn't a supported file type. You could rename it to TXT or zip it before uploading.

I've encountered this problem three times between July thru December, 2020. My point is that it's extremely rare. It is trapped by a catch routine in my DLL library (for IQFeed fundamentals) and the trace message says something about IQFundamentals.csv file not being found. This is clearly a race condition where the file writer is creating the file late or deleting it too early before the file reader can access it. This is only going to affect strategies accessing IQFeed fundamentals (like mine).

I have attached the file mentioned in post #6 as a text file here.
