Hi Eugene. Thank you for the prompt reply.
Let me be more specific. Obviously I am not familiar with the Wealth Lab product. I would like to test a concept I have for the futures market. My concept requires entering a multi (ie 2) when multiple time frame criteria are met. It also required multiple exit points.
It requires historical data of many months (at least 3 months, but several years / market to be able to test across multiple time frames is required).
Do you still think Wealth Lab can be utilized for my project?
And if so, how does Wealth Lab support data? ie. Am I suppose to find a supported data feed / provider or EOD data from somewhere to import my data into Wealth Lab or does it come with some type of data to be configured within the software itself?
Is there some documentation available somewhere I can read up on Wealth Lab to better understand the product?

Sure. Wealth-Lab has futures support, multiple time frames are supported as well, and it's possible to have as many entry/exit points as you like.

Although your residence defines an appropriate product from the line (WL Pro for US/Canadian residents and WL Developer for international customers) and also the choice of available data providers, with regard to futures it currently doesn't really matter.
You will need to find a supported futures data vendor (MetaStock, ASCII/CSV).
The choice of bundled data vendors will extend soon to include more data providers.

Yes, Wealth-Lab comes with User Guide and Programming Language Guide that alternately can be downloaded as a PDF from Fidelity ATP page.

Eugene,
If futures data providers are somewhere down this path, the ability to define "continuous contracts" will be the first feature that comes to mind. I don't want to deal with implementing in a strategy how and when to switch between contracts expiration, and this will be an issue for any strategy run against any futures contract.

One minor drawback is that in the past, they used to update their data quite infrequently.
