What time frame is the Gann Swing Oscillator using? And is there a way to change that time frame to look at different styles of trading? Like day trading or swing trading. Mike

If by chance you're talking about the Community.Indicators implementation, it uses the native time frame of the symbol. As always, it's possible to access the GannSwingOscillator data series from higher timeframes using one of the SetScale* functions.

Eugene, Thanks for your help. I am talking about the Community.Indicators, which I've downloaded so that I can use them in a Rules based strategy. I'm not a programmer, not even close, but I'm willing to invest my time to learn how to use WL5 better. Can you tell me where to find the SetScale* functions? Then I'll see what I can figure out from there. Mike

You'll find these functions instantiated in the QuickRef but be sure to take a look at the WealthScript Programming Guide first. The examples there serve to illustrate 'real life' tasks e.g. How to: Access Weekly Indicator Series from a Daily Chart .
Being able to access data series in a higher time frame in Rule-based strategies would be sexy, but there must be a good reason why they aren't there.

It sounds like I have my work cut out for me. I'm not familiar with a lot of what you refer to in your reply, but that's where I need to focus. And I'll seriously consider leaving the sexy stuff alone. Thanks again!
