Hello,
Have searched the forums in an attempt to find a solution for this but had no luck. I'm just trying to look at historical indice and stock data that goes back further than 1992 which is what I'm assuming the WLP default is. Does anyone know of an extension I can use or how I can pull in that data? I'm trying to look at past bull/bear markets so data going back before 1992 would be very helpful.
Thanks all.

Hi,
It depends on symbol name. Off the top of my head, these are Yahoo! (built in), Wealth-Data,
NorgateData, IQFeed provider and some others which you can find by switching the
Extension Finder's "category" to "Provider".

Hi Eugene,
I downloaded the Morningstar Static, NorgateData, and Yahoo! Finance extensions. I also just updated the data with those 3 boxes checked in the Data Manager, but I'm still only seeing $SPX data back to 1992. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Every provider has own symbology: .SPX (Fidelity), ^GSPC (Yahoo), $SPX (is this from defunct MSN provider?) etc. Yahoo's ^GSPC data goes back at least to 1950. Make sure "All data" is selected when you update it.
P.S. Like IQFeed, NorgateData is a paid data source.
