How do I get started learning WL?
I feel overwhelmed trying to get a handle on this program. I've gone through the quick reference and about 1/3 of the user guide. I just can't seem to get off center. I'm not a programmer, the last programming class was fortran with punch cards in 1980. My technical analysis understanding is strong enough not to be the cause of my struggles.
I feel if I could just model a few of my current trades and put my technical exit conditions in and monitor moving forward that I would start to learn.
Any advice would be helpful.

Hi Bruce,
Welcome to the forum. We've created a series of

Let me also recommend you to experiment with the Rule Wizard (Strategy from Rules). This is the easiest way to get a basic trading system working w/o any programming, in a drag & drop manner. And in the case you're stuck implementing your trading idea with the building blocks provided by the Rule Wizard, feel free to post your questions here on the forum.

Hello Adrien. I thought I would add that one thing that helped me tremendously (and still does) was to experiment by creating rule based strategies (as mentioned above), then either converting them to code based strategies or viewing the strategy code. That way you can see how things fit together. I also think you have to be patient - there is a LOT of information, indicators, strategies, etc. It just takes time to get through it all. Hope this helps.
