Hi,
Hoping you can help me out.

Im new to WLD and am trying to use my paid data subscription (for the ASX) I have with Interactive Brokers for populating WLD with clean historical and and live data.

Ive done some trawling through other forum posts but could not find anything relevant to V6.x nor anything that specifically addressed this.

I look at WL Wiki and followed the link to download the MtiQs extension, however this also hasn't worked despite after running the extension, the program stating that the extension is installed but then after restarting WL, the program states the extension has not been properly installed.

Any advice on this would be appreciated to confirm im heading in the right direction.

Thanks for your help.

What a coincidence! I was just looking for posts from other WL customers interested in IB. I created a IB provider for Wealth-Lab Developer 6 that I've been using some months now and I just finished my website to offer it to others. Try it by signing up for a free 10-day trial at http://www.ib-automated-trading.com. Greets!

Quote from TradeStation thread, Post# 6
QUOTE:
... For all soon WLD users (read: WLP customers) it will be possible to trade through Interactive Brokers and use its historical/realtime data.... Unfortunately, IBKR Pro is not commission free because its API isn't available to IBKR Lite plan users. But so far it's the only time-tested and supported alternative.

I need some clarification. To trade with Interactive Brokers, do I first need to move all my investment capital out of Fidelity?

Naturally you would have to use ACATS or other way to move your investments for trading with another broker.

What is ACATS?

So I would need to move all my investment capital out of Fidelity to use WLD?

ACATS is Automated Customer Account Transfer Service. Supported by all major players in the field including Fidelity. There may be other ways.

At the moment, I'm not aware of a method to trade in a Fidelity account using WLD. Consequently, one would have to use a broker provider like the one developed for IB and available at http://ib-automated-trading.com.

I talked to Fidelity. Their take is to use ATP to make all your Wealth-Lab trades with on the Fidelity side. I asked if there were any plans to interface Wealth-Lab Developer with ATP so trades could be easily placed between them? Currently, the answer is "no", but I think if enough people griped that may change there mind.

I've griped several times in the last couple weeks. No replacement tools, use ATP or Web site. Sorry Charlie (think tuna fish).
Soooooo.... ACATS here we come :-)
