However, the MetaStock adapter uses a COM component, therefore it's not supported for 64-bit installations. Per the installation instructions, if you require MetaStock and/or TeleChart Adapters on a 64-bit computer, you must use the 32-bit installation (and run in 32-bit mode).

Does WLD5.6 support the 6000-stocks-per-folder MetaStock format? Under WL4 this is only available using the static adaptor (which uses MetaLib.dll to do this).

MetaLib.dll is also used in the WL5 Metastock provider which probably supports the latest and greatest incarnation of the 40-year old format.
