Is it possible to use the WLD5 PC license for a laptop?

Yes but unfortunately, this requires an extra license ($300, maintenance fee from 2nd year applies).

However, if you plan to use WLD5 on a laptop from time to time (e.g. on a business trip), then it's possible to transfer your license to the laptop at no cost.
