Hello,
I am trying to paste Input and Output script examples from User Guide into Neuro-Lab Input/Output scripts and getting "Input string was not in a correct format" error when trying to check scripts for errors (Although it says "Compile Complete" in the status bar). Attempts to add a layer is causing application crash. I am using Neuro-Lab version 2017.6.0.0. Am I missing something in the process?
Thanks,
Maxim

Hi Maxim,
If you're pasting the scripts because there are no default networks in the ListView on the left of "Define Network" then I think we've been here before. In this case one gets this error message in post #7 in
Starting Neuro-Lab: I do not have Define Network. Check this out for a solution:

Anatoly,
Let's start by saying that without creating a new script ("File > New...") you can't arrive at what you said (i.e. copy/paste to a NN script) since the default ones are locked for editing. If you wish us to look into the issue please provide a complete procedure to reproduce it. Include every important detail i.e. steps to reproduce, regional settings (before/after). I can imagine how GIGO (bad input) can lead to a crash but I couldn't get NL to crash using your description. Thanks.

Eugene I've been doing this for an hour, copy code in Input Script / Output Script, try add Training data, and add Neuron before crash, without File -> New :)
Interface not blocked, my idea crate warning window. My english bad, use google translate.
Now all work after File -> New with different regional setting

Thanks. Problem is, "Define network" is missing the three prepackaged networks. And it's a familiar issue we have here in the Wiki Errors section:
Missing networks in Neuro-LabWhat kind of regional settings did you have "before" and "after" changing it? Here I mean just the separator for Numbers
and Currency (there may be two):
How to Customize Numbers Format on Windows 10Unless you're using certain Russian software which requires "," (we had such reports before), my suggestion would be to always set them both to "." (dot) for best compatibility possible.
