Is there any way to resize or increase the size of the Strategy Parameters Window ? thx

No, it's fixed.

(Only the width with the Data Panel.)

Currently, on my display, the label of a Strategy Parameter is limited to about 13 characters. This is barely sufficient for my needs and I find myself using some cryptic abbreviations. When the divider between the left and right side of the main WL screen is adjusted left or right, the text box widens, but the label stays fixed. This request is to widen or narrow the label and text boxes proportionately. I'll give up some right side real estate to see more meaningful labels.
Can you at least add this to your requested modification queue?

Upvoting a reasonable request.

I have a related question. Is there a setting in WealthLabConfig.txt or somewhere else which can be modified to change the default height of the Strategy Parameters window (or the DataSets window)? I can adjust the separator manually, but I would like have Wealth-Lab Pro open with a larger Strategy Parameters window.

You can adjust the separator. Furthermore, this gets saved and preserved upon restart. The parameter name inside WealthLabConfig.txt is called
DataTreeWidth. Note that this has no effect upon the text labels in the Strategy Parameters box - you can't control its width (or font size) separately.
Your mileage may vary if affected by QC 146 (
Open Issues > (146)
Application needs to support 120 DPI throughout). As I always pick my display size parametrically (see
post #6 here), I'm not affected and the DataSets window always opens at the comfortable custom size.

As the name implies, that is the width. I want to change the default
height (actually the height of the Strategy Parameters box).

Okay, I misread your question a bit.
Short answer: it's unlikely to accomplish this.
Long answer: The height is hardcoded within WealthLabPro.exe (WealthLabDev.exe). The parameter pertains to some undetermined property of the internal ChartRenderer class (most likely but it may be some other undocumented class). It's not exposed in any config file.
In theory, possibility remains to expose it via the WealthLabPro.exe.config in the main WLP folder under Program Files:
Using App.Config for user defined runtime parametersChange WealthLabPro.exe.config fileJust for example, here's how you could tweak another undocumented internal property of Wealth-Lab (the Margin Factor upper limit) by applying this technique:
Margin Factor limitBut since this hacking is unsupported do not ask me how to do this or what this property or field may be called because I have no idea.
Hint: the Object Browser of Visual Studio or equivalent tool may come in handy.

Thanks Eugene. There are some hacks where the end result justifies the work involved. I don't think this is one of those.
