I did reference the Quick Ref guide, but am having trouble understanding these concepts. Can you explain why, when and how to apply Global objects to a strategy script?

I used Google to look up for "global memory" prefixed with "site:wealth-lab.com/forum/posts" and found this. Now you can, too. Pick your "why, when and how":

How to extract Symbols and their Exchanges
The best way to store data with certain symbols
Passing indicator/bar data between Streaming Strategies via files
Trying to write a list of data to global memory and retrieve from another strategy

Concepts like global memory are best learned from practice, when you're stumped point and nothing else does the trick. ;)
