As usual, you can find it in "New and Noteworthy" in the User Guide.

I am running WLP 6.9.18 but "New and Noteworthy" describes 6.9.17.
It would be good to review new release features and special install instructions, if any, before installing a new version. I did not update this morning in case there were instructions on features or process - Like when 18 required 17 uninstall and 18 install. Any way to do that?

OK, the new release which follows just a few weeks on from the last one relates to some changes in dot Net, but it is seriously not ready for prime time, and should never have been released without proper testing. There seem to be some fatal and just annoying problems.
1. I believe short orders are being sent as sell orders.
2. If you enter a symbol that is not recognized the program simply crashes. Oh, and if you add an invalid symbol to a watchlist and then try to delete it you will also crash the program. The only way to delete it to make sure the focus is not on a chart.
3. When the default workspace opens with the loading of the application many charts have lost their symbols and do not know who they are anymore.
4. It appears to not be possible to display a 1 min chart for many NYSE symbols like XOM, CHK, BBG just to name three. (the program may or may not crash)

I cannot reproduce any crash when entering symbols. Please be more specific about the details which are missing (data provider, tool, streaming or not, on demand update on/off etc.) Even then, the crashes may turn out to be specific to your PC.

Recreate your (corrupt) default workspace from scratch and overwrite the file.
Have all of these issues appeared in 6.9.19 and not before? Creating new topics for issues #2 and #4 (you did it for #1 already) would make good sense. Thanks.

I had some trouble creating this specific problem, but this seems to do it.
1. Create a new dataset: Feed is FIdelity, TimeFRame 1 min: Symbols HIIQ, HQII.
2. Put focus onto a chart and HIIQ. The chart should load OK with data.
3. Now click the no HQII and the program should crash.
I've done more testing, the problem may not be reproducible with just a blank new chart. It does not crash for me until I load a strategy.

That's a start. I doubt it's a "6.9.19" issue - rather something in your Strategy code. Let's collect more evidence to support or disprove it:
1. Which strategy crashes WLP? All, any, some particular one? Code-based or Rule-based?
2a. Is your DataSet with HIIQ and HQII up to date?
2b. At the time of crash, do you have on demand data update enabled?
3. Do you have a debugger installed on your PC? If so, what error message does WLP crash with?
P.S. Since the focus has changed from discussing new features to troubleshooting assorted issues (which in the end may even not pertain to 6.9.19 per se), I've renamed topic title from "What's new in WLP 6.9.19 ?" to "Strategy crashes WLP 6.9.19 on 1-minute data".

Have you had a chance to collect additional evidence for troubleshooting? Thanks.

Usually when this happens, it's due to the use of an indicator that doesn't properly handle a null Bars object. Even if you don't supply a strategy, it would be helpful to know which indicators you're using.
