The Difference between Median and Average Values in Monte Carlo's "Analysis" tab

Hi. Under Monte Carlo's "Analysis" tab, there are Median Value and Average Value. I struggled to obtain the definitions respectively in the User Guide as well as in Wikipedia, but nothing seems to be satisfactory so far.

Could you please explain each of the two concepts in the "Analysis" tab? Thanks.
