I notice that "Profit %" actually calculates the % change in price between Entry and Exit and not the profit per equity.

For example, (0.88410-0.90650)/0.90650 = -2.47%

Is there a way to show a column that calculates Profit $ / Equity?

Wealth-Lab's Profit % is industry standard. If memory serves, you're the first one to be interested in Return On Equity on the Trades tab. Out of curiosity, could you point me towards any other platform that shows the trade P/L as RoE out-of-the-box?

Of course there is a way to add a new performance metric like this. Wealth-Lab is very extensive so when in need of a performance metric currently not available, motivated traders (if they possess C# and Visual Studio development skills) may use the Performance Visualizer API to develop a new custom tab. For example, this is how we've extended the Trades tab, implementing some customer requests: Trades+.

If you become a Wealth-Lab customer, we may consider such requests if they seem feasible.

Actually, your assumption is not entirely correct. The profit % is calculated with regard to the number of shares and the big point value (for a futures contract).

It seems to me that your reply to my queries are not very friendly.

A quick search on your forum showed someone else raised the same issue 6 years ago.

Perhaps what forex traders are looking for differs from stock traders.

Secondly if you are observant, for my previous query, (https://www.wealth-lab.com/Forum/Posts/Max-Percent-Risk-for-Forex-38388) #3
you could have explained that Max Percent Risk is calculated from equity while %Profit is not so they cannot be compared directly.

It occurred to me that you are more concerned in replying to questions than understanding what are your clients needs.

Anyway, Wealth-Lab is a very robust and powerful software. I am considering purchase when I see that it can meet my needs especially in application with forex and CFDs.
