I have installed Wealth-Lab developer 5.1, would like to access indian
Exchanges (BSE,NSE) and indian stocks. Could you guide me as to how
to go about it.

In brief:

1. Choose "Create new DataSet" from the menu or simply hit Ctrl-Shift-D, select "Yahoo Finance".
2. "Create symbols manually or paste from clipboard". For your convenience, the .BO (BSE) or .NS (NSE) suffixes can be added automatically by selecting the appropriate option in the dropdown list.

I tried connecting to yahoo finance data source., but i found for some of the scrips data is not available.
i have following queries about data source

1. Can i connect Wealth Lab to Local data source - BSE & Nse bhavcopy or online data feed from Bse & Nse networks?

2. Can I get online data feed from yahoo finance or any other source?

3. Can this update dataset be automated or do i need to click on update dataset every time to update the data?

Most likely, it's a problem with Yahoo! not providing historical data for some international symbols. For instance, could you show some particular symbols with no data available?

Assuming the vendor provides its data in one of the supported formats like MetaStock or ASCII, importing historical data would not be a problem then. Otherwise there's a need to develop a 3rd party data provider. Speaking of Bhavcopy - no, this data format is not supported: it's a big file with quotes for every symbol updated daily, while for the built-in ASCII provider each file should contain data for one security only.

If you mean real-time intraday data by "online", then it depends. Delayed (or real-time - for Yahoo! Premium accounts) streaming quotes are supported by the Quotes tool. The Yahoo! provider supports streaming daily quotes. Intraday real-time data for charting is not supported because Yahoo! does not provide it.

I was not able to update following securities using yahoo finance (Bse)

600570.BO Error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.
[4] 532555.BO Error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.
[5] 532712.BO Error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.
[8] RLCMF.PK Error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.

Well, I need EOD, dynamic data on bse & nse for Cash and F&O segments, could you suggest me a good data source.

It's just what it says: the symbol is not present on Yahoo! servers or they do not possess/collect the history. And if you step in to Yahoo! Finance for 600570.BO, the message explains it all:

Historical quote data is unavailable for the specified date range.

Check with ESignal or IQFeed. We plan to support these providers (static and streaming data). Also, we'll support Medved QuoteTracker, which may be able to accept a feed from your broker provider.

Reuters Datalink (MetaStock format) is also an option for EOD.

Finally, any provider that can export to ASCII data is also a perfectly valid format.
