WL4 string functions (GetToken etc) in WL5?

In WL4, there was

which allowed you to access any specified segment of a string

The closest I have found in WL5 to this is:

but this appears to be a much more 'blunt' instrument than GetToken. Is there another way?

In .NET, there are more String functions than meets the eye.

Google/MSDN for String & C# and you'll find thousands of hits for Substring, Split etc.

Thought that this might be helpful in general: An equivalent WealthScript function can't be found.
