Hi Folks!
After installing the latest round of extensions this morning I am encountering an issue. When I open a strategy it runs through the calculations (showing the hourglass), and completes. Then the hourglass re-appears after 5-10 seconds and the program stops working (if I click on it it grays out).
Is anyone else seeing this problem?

Hi Vince,
This is too general to work with. May be a streaming data problem, an issue with your strategy or something else - not necessarily the extensions. But let's focus on them before moving on to another step.
If you're not using Quandl and Yahoo data, this leaves us with MS123 Visualizers library, MS123 PosSizers and TASCIndicators. Which one(s) is(are) your strategy using? If it's the Visualizers, then close (or don't open) your strategy and/or don't load the default workspace, uncheck all enabled MS123 Visualizers, start your strategy. Does it work? Close the strategy window, enable one of those you were using, reopen the window, repeat until WLP crashes.

Hi Eugene!
Sorry for the minimalist description initially, but I was on my way out and did not have time to delve deeply.
It is definitely associated with the Yahoo data source. Switching to Fidelity resolves the issue completely. I am not using data on demand..

Thanks Vince, now we're onto something (topic title has been renamed). Our Yahoo! provider has had a considerable update involving download of entire stock history in background for reverse adjustment of its cached volume. But I believe if on demand update is turned off then this feature shouldn't kick in - until a new split is released.
What you're experiencing could as well be an obfuscation problem. If you...
1. close everything in WLP
2. enable hidden file visibility (Windows Control Panel > Folder Options)
3. temporarily move out or rename the YahooStaticProvider folder from here:
c:\Users\Windows username\AppData\Roaming\Fidelity Investments\WealthLabPro\1.0.0.0\Data\
4. update some plain vanilla Y! DataSet like Dow 30 and rerun your strategy on it,
...does the problem persist?

Hi Eugene!
I followed the steps you outlined and the problem disappeared.

Good, so it's not obfuscation - but some broken data. By chance, could you localize the affected symbol(s) or DataSet(s) or it encompassed all Yahoo data?

Hi Eugene!
The problem SEEMED to be any WL that had Yahoo data. I tried a bunch of small WL (of ~25 symbols) and a couple of large ones and all would hang regardless.
I appreciate you help in resolving the issue.

Hi Vince,
Glad to have helped.
It's not evident to me as to what exactly in the static data might have caused this hang. If you could attach a few such "broken" .WL files by YahooStaticProvider, that might help in nailing down the bug.

Hi Eugene!
I do not know which files are causing the problem. I could send you the whole folder if you want. It is ~600MB.
