I wanted an outside contractor to complete coding for my strategy. The problem is that the contractor is not a Fidelity customer and I, for obvious reasons, cannot share my login. I can see that Fidelity provides a 30-day free demo software, but I am not sure whether it is amenable to implementing and testing new strategies. Also, I don't know whether Fidelity allows data access (e.g. Dow 30 etc) for testing purposes.
Finally, what happens if the project takes longer than 30 days?
Thanks.

Your contractor can evaluate Wealth-Lab Pro once for 30 days (if he's a U.S. resident). Static data access is allowed during evaluation, although there will be no fundamental and streaming data by Fidelity.
If the project takes longer than 30 days, then the program will lock up I suppose. Please contact Fidelity directly if you need help with this (we're a 3rd party company).

still investigating w/Fidelity, but what I've learned so far does not look good. Besides, most of contractor-prospects are non-US residents. Any WL programmer group somewhere? I found a couple of old posts on the forum seeking contractors with no takers...
Thanks.

Not a problem either: non-US residents can evaluate Wealth-Lab Developer. The included data during trial will be virtually limited to EOD but intraday data can be plugged via ASCII or Metastock providers.
