Sorry to ask such a boring, stupid question. But I feel like I have to be missing something (or did something change with the last update? I am currently using 6.9.22.7, which I think is the latest (forced) version)...
I know that in the past I have re-calibrated my paper accounts with a set amount of starting capital, as well as created new paper accounts in WLP. For the life of me, I can no longer find it. My recollection was that it was in the "Account Balances and Positions" screen and/or the Preferences (F12), but I can no longer find the "configure paper accounts" option anywhere.
Can someone point me in the right direction?! Thanks.

You're not doing anything wrong, it's a bug. The missing "Configure Paper Accounts" button, along with other Paper Trading bugs, will be fixed in WLP 6.9.23. (It's already been fixed in WLD 6.9.23 but Fidelity hasn't signed off the WLP build yet). Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks Eugene! I thought I was losing my mind!
Can't wait for the new update (and ability to forgo ctrl+k just to use the program!). Appreciate the support. I really like the platform, but I dislike being forced to "upgrade" when the old system didn't seem broke.

When is this fixed version going to be available?

When there is Fidelity's decision to release it.

I have WLD 6.9.23.1. "Paper Accounts" did not use before, decided to check.
1. I open the Accounts window -- there are accounts.
2. I click on "PaperAccount1", the authentication window pops up
3. After authentication, all accounts disappear

Good question. Here's how to fix the missing Paper accounts (upon authentication) in WL Dev 6.9.23 only (does not apply to WL Pro 6.9.22):
1. Close WLD 6.9.23
2. With
hidden files visible, go to this folder: c:\Users\
Windows username\AppData\Roaming\Fidelity Investments\WealthLabDev\1.0.0.0\
3. Rename the
Data folder. It contains all your Strategies, preferences and data files so be careful
not to delete it!
4. Start WLD to make it create a fresh Data folder with new Accounts.xml file. This is the key. Note that just deleting Accounts.txt or Accounts.xml does
not work.
5. Close WLD.
6. Now copy back all the files from your renamed Data folder to the newly created Data folder
except the Accounts.xml file (and maybe Accounts.txt) and restart WLD.
Sorry that this is confusing. I believe this may get fixed in a future build (or at least alleviated to the extent of not having to rename the Data folder). For now the workaround is exactly like I said. It's confirmed working.

Thanks, it works.

Glad to hear.
Forgot to mention that a more brief version of the workaround has already been on the

PaperAccounts are gone after authenticating WLD until program is restarted"

Any idea when Fidelity will allow the new version to be released?

@Owens, the new build could be released at any time, but my best guess is sometime next week. This one's going to be a mandatory upgrade, so you won't miss it.
