I tried to repeat your Wealth_Lab article in the July 2018 TASC magazine. There was no "DSMA" indicator on my TASC Indicator list. Do I have an old indicator list. Do I delete and add it again.

Yes, you have to update the TASCIndicators extension (Tools menu in WLP > Extension Manager) and restart WLP to get DSMA.
